IndianOil Petronas Invites Bids for On-Grid Solar Pilot at ALDS Outlets in Karnataka and Tamil Nadu

IndianOil Petronas Private Limited (IPPL), a joint venture between Indian Oil Corporation Limited and PETRONAS, has invited bids for a pilot project to install on-grid solar power systems at selected Auto LPG Dispensing Station (ALDS) outlets in Karnataka and Tamil Nadu.

The tender, identified by reference number IPPL/HO/S&T/26-27/ALDS SolarPilot/01, will follow a two-bid submission process. Bidders are required to submit their proposals online through the Central Public Procurement Portal (CPPP).

The tender was opened on September 2, 2026, at 3:00 PM. No tender fee has been specified, while the summary does not mention requirements for an Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) or Performance Bank Guarantee (PBG).

The pilot is intended to increase the use of solar power at IPPL’s ALDS retail outlets in Karnataka and Tamil Nadu. The project could also help IPPL evaluate the practical deployment of renewable energy systems at its retail facilities and support potential expansion to other suitable locations.
