FAGMIL Invites Bids for 2.52 MW Solar Project Under PM-KUSUM in Rajasthan

FCI Aravali Gypsum and Minerals India Limited (FAGMIL) has invited bids for the development of a 2.52 MW AC ground-mounted solar power project near Bhawad in Osian, Jodhpur, Rajasthan, under the PM-KUSUM Scheme.

The project will have an estimated 3.024 MWp DC capacity and will be developed under Component-C of PM-KUSUM, which focuses on solarisation of agricultural feeders. The project will follow a Build-Own-Operate (BOO) model with a proposed contract period of 25 years.

The selected developer will be responsible for the complete project, including land arrangement, financing, engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, operation and maintenance. The developer will also be required to guarantee minimum annual generation of 41.94 lakh units, equivalent to a minimum 19% CUF.

Tender Details

The project will be awarded through an L-1 bidding process, with selection based on the highest net savings offered to FAGMIL against the benchmark PPA tariff of ₹3.323 per unit.

Bidders must have a minimum net worth of ₹5 crore as of FY 2024–25 and an average annual turnover of at least ₹10 crore during FY 2022–23 to FY 2024–25. The tender includes an EMD of ₹10 lakh and requires the successful bidder to submit a ₹30 lakh Performance Bank Guarantee.

The tender was published on August 14, 2026. The pre-bid meeting is scheduled for August 20, with clarifications accepted until August 26. Online bid submission will close on August 28, followed by bid opening on August 29.

The project is expected to be completed within four months from the work order, while the scheduled commissioning deadline under the PPA is March 31, 2027.

The project represents another step in Rajasthan’s expansion of distributed solar generation under PM-KUSUM, supporting solarisation of agricultural power infrastructure and greater integration of renewable energy into the state’s electricity system.
