The Gujarat Energy Transmission Corporation (GETCO) has invited bids for setting up around 1.04 MW of rooftop solar capacity across five projects in Gujarat’s Surendranagar Circle.
The projects will be developed across 66 kV substations, with the objective of increasing renewable-energy generation through rooftop solar installations at the utility’s infrastructure.
Five Rooftop Solar Projects
GETCO has floated five separate tenders covering a combined capacity of approximately 1.038 MW. The projects will involve the installation of rooftop solar PV systems at selected substations.
The initiative will help GETCO utilise available rooftop space at its substations for clean electricity generation while supporting Gujarat’s broader renewable-energy expansion.
Bid Submission Deadline
Interested developers and contractors are required to submit their bids by September 11, 2026.
The tender is part of GETCO’s efforts to expand the use of renewable energy across its transmission infrastructure.
